Key Ingredients
What’s Inside Matters
At PTUSA, we believe better nutrition starts with better ingredients. Our products are formulated to provide the essential nutrition that supports animal health and performance. Distillers grains, the foundation of our products, deliver a reliable source of protein and energy, while added ingredients like garlic and yucca bring targeted benefits. Together, they reflect our commitment to practical, science-backed nutrition.

Distillers Grains
A nutrient-rich product of ethanol production, distillers grains are concentrated to contain up to three times the protein and digestible fiber found in corn grain. They are widely used in cattle, dairy, swine, and poultry diets.
• Support efficient feed conversion and growth
• Provide long shelf life and ease of transportability
• Used across species for consistent nutritional value
Garlic
Garlic is included in our formulations for palatability enhancement as well as its potential as a natural insect-repellent and for immune support. Various studies have reported garlic’s active sulfur compounds like diallyl sulfide and diallyl disulfide are responsible for these benefits to livestock production.
Studies have shown:
-
Garlic residue in mineral salt can reduce tick infestations by 50% or more
-
Potential reduced fly abundance and defensive behaviors in pastured cattle
-
Improvement in performance and immune status

Yucca
Yucca extract is rich in natural saponins and antioxidants. Various studies report that Yucca supports rumen efficiency and helps reduce environmental impact by lowering ammonia and methane emissions.
Studies have shown Yucca can:
-
Reduce rumen ammonia levels
-
Support microbial protein synthesis
-
Improve feed conversion and nutrient absorption
-
Reduce methane emissions
-
Promote a healthier confinement or pasture environment
